Malayisan Association of Certified Bookkeepers & Administrators (MACBA) provide an organisation for professionals in bookkeeping, administration and management in corporate and organisations and to support and advance the status and interest and protect the character of the profession and to exercise professional supervision over the members of the Association and to frame and establish rules for observance in matters pertaining to professional conduct.

Our Objective
To provide an organisation for professionals in bookkeeping, administration and management in corporate and organisations and to support and advance the status and interest and protect the character of the profession and to exercise professional supervision over the members of the Association and to frame and establish rules for observance in matters pertaining to professional conduct.
To provide a professional qualification to be known as ‘Certified Bookkeepers & Administrators’ for such persons who are desirous of acquiring such qualification and to promote and protect the interest of members and their professional status.
To provide means by examinations or otherwise for assessing the knowledge, experience and character of candidates for the continuous upgrading of all members.
To hold conferences, seminars, workshops and meetings for the reading of papers and the delivery of lectures including e-delivery of lectures, webinars, online courses, podcasts and for the acquisition and dissemination by other means of information connected with the profession of bookkeeping, administration and management.
To establish a resource centre including e-library for the use of members and registered students and to collect, collate and publish information of service and /or interest to members of the profession.
To promote and to join any other related bodies and institutes local and / or abroad in mutually beneficial ventures, arrangements and affiliation with a view to the attainment of the above objects or any of them.
To amalgamate or merge with any legally constituted companies, institutes, societies or associations having objects similar to those of the Association having objects similar to the objects of the Association with or interested in the advancement of the status of the bookkeepers and / or administrators.
The Council may enter into agreement and / or mutual recognition agreement with any local or foreign institutes, educational establishments or other professional bodies the scheme of courses or programmes (with or without examination) for the granting of certificate, diploma and other awards of which the bookkeepers and administrators’ profession is concerned, subject to the approval of the relevant authorities.
To consider and grant such awards in recognition of contributions and efforts by such individuals / companies / organisations in the promotion of bookkeeper profession, management, enterprise excellence and societal benefits or such other notable / charitable course(s).
To take any gift of property, whether subject to any special trust or not, for any one or more of the objects of the Association.
To take such steps by personal or written appeals, public meetings, otherwise, as may from time to time be deemed expedient for the purpose of procuring contributions to the funds of the Association, in the form of donations, grants, annual subscriptions or otherwise, with the prior approval of the Registrar of Societies.
To print and publish any journals, periodicals, books or leaflets including e- books, e-journals, and any other forms of electronic or digitalized materials that the Association might think desirable for the promotion of its objects with the prior approval of relevant authorities, where applicable.
To purchase, lease, rent or otherwise acquire or take any interest in land and /or buildings for investment or use by members or for the benefit of members or to fulfill any of the objects of the Association.
To sell, assign, lease, rent or otherwise dispose off any of its lands and/or buildings for purposes of generating funds for the use or benefit of the members and as allowed by the objects of the Association.
To borrow, charge or otherwise create any encumbrances on the assets of the Association and to generate funds for use or for the benefit of members and as allowed by the objects of the Association.
